For 2021, TARS Gallery invites COFI (Collective Of Fictional Individuals) to use and abuse the space.

​

The gallery’s physical space will not host any exhibition besides the PURPLE HAZE project from February 2021 until October 2021.

​

During that time, COFI will use the gallery as a studio and laboratory for their work. Mixing internet references with their personal interest of the animal kingdom and monsters, taking the form of drawings, videos, paintings and music.

 

For the duration of PURPLE HAZE, the public will be invited to witness the process during the usual opening hours of the gallery, Saturdays and Sundays from 2-6 PM, and during special events like open studios, exhibitions, parties (you know the drill). Using the FACTORY by Andy Warhol as a reference, the place of exhibition and production also becomes a social place and melting pot of creative spirits, in which the public takes part in the process.

The final result is a total mystery for TARS Gallery and for COFI. They will go with the flow.
